Al Sahlawi & Co was founded by Yousif Hussain Al Sahlawi, the Firm’s Founding and Lead Criminal and Family Practice Partner. Having served as a Federal Public Prosecutor for over 10 years, as an Executive Director in Dubai Government for over 10 years, and as an Advocate, Yousif accumulated over 35 years of experience in the legal industry. This has earned him a reputation as a result-oriented, high achiever in the United Arab Emirates.As a former national team football player, Yousif became a famous icon in the country. This has allowed him to develop his high-profile client base. Serving his clients over the years has enabled him to expand his experience in all aspects of law. Today, Yousif leads the firm’s Criminal and Family practices, with a large corporate and individual client base that entrusts him, as part of Al Sahlawi & Co, with their legal issues and requirements.

In 2021, the firm’s expansion and development plan required further experience and a different management model. This was achieved by Faisal Al Haddad Al Hazmi joining the firm and becoming the current Managing and Lead Commercial Partner. With an academic background in Maritime and E-Commerce Laws from reputable universities in the United Kingdom, and extensive experience practicing law at an international and governmental level, Faisal, in his capacity as the Managing Partner of Al Sahlawi & Co, practices corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on shareholder, distribution, banking, finance, real estate disputes, and financial crimes. Faisal has experience in representing a wide range of businesses, including financial institutions and leading multinational companies across different sectors.
